We Need To Talk About Farming

A new podcast mini-series from Will Evans and FFCC.

Why now?

We Need to Talk About Farming is a new spin-off series from Will Evans – creator of the Rock n Roll Farming podcast – and the Food, Farming and Countryside Commission.

There’s lots of noise around farming right now – and a lot of issues facing farmers, from tax and subsidy changes to unpredictable weather and an ongoing lack of profitability in the sector. Most farmers agree that things need to change, but conversations about how they need to change are often difficult and divided.

This series brings balanced and thoughtful voices together to ask the big questions in food and farming. From net zero and food security to land use and livestock, it’s time to talk about what’s really going on in farming – and what a better farming future can look like.
