Today our Farming Transition team kick off the first of a series of symposium events designed to convene leaders from food, farming and environment organisations. These events build on the work of our Farming Leadership Group which has not met in person for three years. Going forward we will host live events each year bringing leaders together to progress the transition to fair and sustainable farming across UK nations.

This symposium focusses on how to help money flow to where the work is needed for a transition to agroecology. It builds on the discussion chaired by FFCC's Finance Director Tony Greenham at the Oxford Real Farming Conference with representatives from Triodos Bank, the Green Finance Institute and the NFU.

Today's discussion seeks to identify the key challenges for the year ahead and build consensus on the action needed.

The series will be in-person, for an invited audience and will follow Chatham House rules.
