The Food, Farming and Countryside Commission works acoss the UK through a network of inquiries at a national and local scale. Our place-based inquiries comprise, so far, three inquiries in England – in Cumbria, Devon and east of England – and one each in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Our early work in east of England was led by Univeristy of Lincoln, working with farmers and others to improve soil health. Now, with a new set of prospective work progammes proposed, including a local land use framework plot, and a farmer-led transition to agroecology, we are looking to commission a coordinator with outstanding facilitation and organisatonal skills, keen to help us deliver FFCC’s mission and purpose.

Term: 1 year freelance contract (with option to extend)

Contract value: Approximately £18,000 (inclusive of any applicable VAT) over the contract’s length.
Location: Home based (ideally in, or close to Cambridgeshire)
