Scott is developing a livestock management system which increases biodiversity

Meet Scott, who is a tenant, upland farmer at Barrowburn Farm in Northumberland. Scott has a passion for species rich grassland and managing livestock in a way that encourages biodiversity.

When we visited Scott as part of our Land Unlocked Tour, he told us he is working to produce food within a biodiverse landscape, but feels finance and policy are still siloed, making is difficult to use the same land for multiple purposes.
