6th July 2023

In this short film for our expert voices series, Professor Monder Ram, Director of the Centre for Research in Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship (CREME) at Aston University, talks with Sarah Pullen, Food Systems Lead at Birmingham City Council, about what's needed to bring about meaningful change in Birmingham's food system.

In particular, they explore the need to move away from one-size-fits-all approaches and instead find adapted solutions for the city's diverse communities – highlighting the need to capture a cross-section of voices across the city.
