How are citizens' priorities shaping the delivery of the Good Food Cycle?

Good food matters to the British public – the evidence is clear. Citizens want to see government and businesses taking decisive action so everyone is able to eat sustainable, healthy food. Citizens also want a seat at the table when it comes to designing policies that affect them.
In spring 2025, a group of representative citizens from across the UK were invited to help shape the Good Food Cycle, a food strategy for England. As part of this, they recently led a series of ‘What Works Here Inquiries’ in four places across the nation.
