Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover)

FFCC is recruiting an Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover) on a 12 month, fixed term contract.

This role will suit you if you’re an experienced, proactive EA, with enthusiasm for working in a fast paced team focussed on making change happen.

FFCC is working with partners and networks across the UK to shape a new version of the future for food, farming and the countryside. By bringing people together, especially seldom heard voices, we are devising radical and practical actions to tackle the climate, nature and health crises for a just and green recovery.

This is a chance to work in a fast-paced environment where you can see your work affecting change in the world. Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will be part of a small, but experienced and motivated team – managing a demanding and varied workload to ensure the organisation’s smooth running and supporting the Chief Executive in her role.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in providing high level support to C-Suite and/or Director level stakeholders, and will be adept at managing changing priorities whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will be warm and approachable, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond with tact, sensitivity and awareness in relation to duties undertaken. Previous experience working on HR and/or finance operations is desirable, but not essential.

This role will suit you if you have:

  • Significant experience in providing high level administrative support to C-Suite and/or Director level stakeholders, including complex diary and email management.
  • Articulate, engaging and accurate communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interest in the aims and ethos of FFCC.

Contract type: 12 month, fixed term contract

Hours: 0.6FTE (21 hours per week)

Salary: £21,600.00 per annum (£36,000.00 FTE)

Start date: April 2022

Location: Home based. The Chief Executive is based in South Wales, and FFCC use co-working space in Bristol. It is desirable, but not essential, for candidates to be close to Bristol.
